I often get asked if I have my own studio. Simple answer is, I do not. Sometimes--particularly during the colder months--I think it would be nice. But I love meeting people where they are, where they love, where they feel at home. I always welcome the fur babies too. Recently, I visited a home for a newborn session and was greeted by the tiniest painted turtle I had ever seen. His "mommy" thought he needed a mini newborn session too. I was schooled on his diet, habitation, and what bugs he strongly dislikes and how you can tell. I welcome these distractions. This is why I love what I do. I never know what to expect; it's like every shoot is a new adventure. I love the challenges and the fun interactions I wouldn't have if I had my own studio.
