I'm still pretty new to this whole homeschooling thing, and can't claim to be an expert in any way. I do, however, have strong feelings on what education should mean to my children. It is extremely important to me that learning never be a drudgery to the young minds in my house. One of the simplest ways I have achieved this is pretty basic. When we have activities or worksheets that I would like to work on with them, we call it a game. Kids love games! And so we do games together, and they don't even notice how much they're learning, they simply focus on the fun they're having and the time spent with each other. The things they learn while enjoying themselves is knowledge that will stay with them for life.
